FUNDING FOR THE LIFE SCIENCES BUILDING

Technology entrepreneurs, musicians, astronauts, and even Nobel scientists, were all born of study halls, classrooms and labs at Utah State University. As with most momentous achievements at USU, private support is needed for the next generation.

Project Funding

USU, Private, and Corporate: $7M
State Legislature: $38M
Total: $45M

As with many capital projects in Utah, the Utah State Legislature provides funding for high-priority projects like the Life Sciences Building. Full funding is rarely provided for new university buildings, because these buildings have often garnered the philanthropic attention of individuals, corporations, and foundations, particularly when the facility is to be used for student instruction.

After securing nearly $3M in private and corporate support, USU is looking for individuals who wish to be part of this historic undertaking. Whether giving $20 or $2M, your gift can have a positive impact for students by supporting this project.

Your support for a new Life Sciences building will expand opportunities for Aggies to experiment, discover, and share world-changing ideas. Thank you for helping build on USU’s legacy of educating tomorrow’s leaders.
